Nineteen Made - For Business
The winter of 2022 witnessed the debut of Nineteen Made's inaugural B2B campaign, "For Business." This campaign signaled a pivotal transition from external garment sourcing to complete in-house manufacturing. Leveraging the expertise of seasoned craftspeople and drawing inspiration from industry leaders like Calvin Klein, H&M, and Zara, Nineteen Made delivered exceptional sizing and fit. The B2B initiative's success, evidenced by private labeling partnerships, combined with a robust Instagram and social media strategy, propelled the Noida-based brand into the competitive 50+ fabric market. Nineteen Made's core mission remains: to create the finest customized clothing in India.
2021
Gaining Traction
In 2020, Nineteen Made launched its initial product: seven regular-fit, 180 GSM cotton t-shirts, designed using free online software and hand-drawn ink sketches. Expanding in 2021, the brand established its presence on Flipkart and Amazon. Recognizing the critical role of quality, Rohan increased design production to over 100 daily. However, limited marketing resources led to decreased online visibility. To counter this, the brand focused on offline sales and subsequently launched NineteenMade.com, initiating direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales. This platform enabled catalog expansion and further design experimentation.
2019
The Inception of Nineteen Made
Nineteen Made represents Rohan's entrepreneurial leap, transforming his artistic passion into a clothing brand. Recognizing the potential to sell his graphic designs on apparel, he began by sourcing and screen-printing garments himself. The brand's name, "Nineteen Made," emerged from a brainstorming session, symbolizing the year of its creation. A simple suggestion to drop "the" refined the name, and Nineteen Made was born.
